We are looking for a Senior Retail Data Analyst to join us here at Cheil UK on a secondment contract (12-months) with Samsung.
The role would be based at the Samsung EU HQ offices in Chertsey.
Your Key Responsibilities:
Analyse all kinds of retail data extracted from the offline retail stores on product sales by each Samsung Europe subsidiary such as Run rate, Shelf Share, Sell out/OOS rates, dead SKU to find issues in offline retail
Monitor and audit data quality to develop and support reporting processes
Prepare reports for internal and external audiences using business analytics reporting tools (Data dashboards, graphs and visualizations)
Work closely with subs’ retail team to coordinate retail initiatives & guideline, and secure support needed for strong execution
Close alignment with the senior management to ensure the projects are delivered in line with the overall business objectives and timelines
Develop concise and consolidated strategic reports for senior management, VP and above, to promote the team’s strategy and project plans
Monitor product mix monthly to Head of Retail D2C and D2C Delivery manager.
Report to D2C store data inc Footfall, sellout and Sales per sq ft within agreed cadence.
Monitor mystery shopping results, NPS and insights across D2C
Monitor Opex + indirect costs against key trackers
What we need for this role
To be successful, you will possess the following skills and attributes:
Experience working in Retail Operation & analysis, Product sales, use of data platform and reporting analysis tools
Position requires related experience in the field retails sales operation
Ability to pay attention to detail, communicate well and be highly organised are essential
Experience in statistical methodologies and data analysis techniques with the ability to produce clear graphical representations and data visualizations
Strong analytical and numerical skills

Monitoring subs’ retail important metric and finding the issues and insights regularly
Regular reporting of European retail meaningful metric
Collect action items to drive quick-fix by working with subsidiaries’ retail team
