H9 Talent Solutions have partnered with a rapidly growing clean technology business who is seeking an experienced Senior Process Engineer to support the development and scale-up of innovative industrial systems focused on sustainability, efficiency, and next-generation energy solutions. This is an opportunity to join a highly technical engineering team delivering complex process solutions from concept through to commissioning within a fast-paced and collaborative environment. Role & Responsibilities Lead process engineering activities across design, optimisation, and operational improvement projects Develop and review process flow diagrams (PFDs), P&IDs, mass and energy balances, and technical specifications Support pilot plant, demonstration, and commercial-scale system development Conduct process simulations and performance analysis to improve efficiency and reliability Work closely with mechanical, electrical, controls, and project engineering teams Contribute to HAZOPs, risk assessments, and process safety activities Support commissioning, start-up, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement initiatives Engage with suppliers, customers, and external engineering partners where required Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership within the process engineering function Skills & Experience Degree qualified in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, or a related discipline Significant industrial experience within clean technology, energy, chemicals, industrial gases, waste-to-energy, hydrogen, carbon capture, or related sectors Strong understanding of process design principles and industrial plant operations Experience with process simulation tools such as Aspen HYSYS, Aspen Plus, or similar Knowledge of process safety and engineering standards Ability to manage multiple technical workstreams in a dynamic environment Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
