Job Title: Team Manager Fostering
Location: Blackburn
Salary: Up to £50,000 per annum + benefits
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Sunbeam Fostering (Northwest) is an Independent Fostering Agency whose mission is to support foster families across the North West region with a therapeutic and innovative approach.
With an experienced management team, at Sunbeam Fostering (Northwest), we aim to cater to the local area of Blackburn and surrounding areas.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Team Managerto join the team in Blackburn.
What the role includes:
* To manage and allocate the work, and monitor the performance, of the social work team in support of Sunbeam's objectives and priorities.
* To ensure a clear and consistent focus on safeguarding of children and young people.
* To ensure the supervision and support of supervising social workers, trainee social workers and other social work support staff, as required
* To participate in the advertisement, recruitment and selection of social work staff.
* To be willing and able to work flexible hours that will involve some evenings and/or weekends.
* Requirements
* Social Work England Registration
* Degree level or equivalent in Social Work
* 5 years post qualifying experience of Statutory childcare work including child protection
* 3 years Supervisory Experience
