At BMAS, we don't just sell bathrooms – we transform lives by making homes more accessible, stylish, and comfortable. Family-founded, fast-growing, and fuelled by passion, we're looking for a Showroom Assistant to join our Hitchin team.
This isn't your standard role. It's the heartbeat of the showroom. One day you'll be scheduling bathroom installs and sales appointments, the next you'll be talking to suppliers about new products, supporting the sales team, and making sure our showroom always looks first-class. It's fast-paced, people-focused, and packed with variety.
If you've got a sharp eye for detail, thrive on organisation, and can adapt your communication style to suit any audience, you'll love it here. You'll be trusted to own tasks, supported to succeed, and recognised for the difference you make.
What you'll be doing
Orchestrating schedules for sales and installation teams – from customer appointments to project timelines.
* Being the first point of contact for customers, guiding them through their journey from enquiry to post-installation care.
* Driving showroom reporting – with Smartsheet and Microsoft skills a bonus.
* Keeping contracts and compliance watertight for clients and subcontractors.
* Managing stock like a pro – from ordering and quoting to returns, inventory and cost control.
* Validating customer quotes and keeping showroom finances on track with daily, weekly, and monthly updates.
* Building relationships with suppliers old and new.
* Championing Health & Safety, compliance, and showroom standards.
* Supporting recruitment, onboarding, and training of new team members.
* Handling calls, emails, and keeping the showroom presentation premium.
* Working side-by-side with the Branch Sales Manager to keep the business flying.
What's in it for you?
* The buzz of a role where no two days are the same.
* The chance to shape how our showroom runs and how customers experience BMAS.
* Recognition for your hard work and opportunities to grow as we grow.
* Being part of a business that's not just established but expanding, with a family ethos at its core.
This is more than just a job – it's your chance to play a key role in a business that's changing the way people think about accessible bathrooms.
