Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Nurse to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care and support to our dental professionals. This position requires a strong ability to communicate effectively, maintain organisational skills, and utilise IT systems efficiently within a clinical setting.
Duties
- Assist the dentist during various dental procedures, ensuring all instruments and materials are prepared and sterilised.
- Provide high-quality patient care, addressing patients' needs and concerns with empathy and professionalism.
- Maintain accurate patient records using the practice's IT systems, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with data protection regulations.
- Manage appointment scheduling and follow-up communications with patients to ensure continuity of care.
- Support the dental team in maintaining a clean and safe working environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care instructions.
Experience
- Previous experience as a Dental Nurse is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with patients and colleagues.
- Proficiency in IT systems relevant to dental practice management is advantageous.
