7.5 TONNE DELIVERY DRIVERS WANTED NEW PASSES ACCEPTED Steer Staffing are currently recruiting for 7.5 tonne Delivery Drivers, to join a distribution and delivery company based in Bristol. You will be delivering customers orders to their houses and office sites, working with a Drivers Mate to support you on all deliveries and route plans are put together for your daily, along with you vehicle been loaded with the products. The shifts are 5 days on and 3 days off, the days will be on a rota basis, with two 30-minute breaks, morning, and afternoon. A DBS check will be required for this role. The duties of the 7.5 tonne Delivery Driver include: Delivering customers orders to their houses or work places Delivering various products including washing machines, tumble dryers andfridge freezers Lifting items from the vehicle and completing a multi-drop driving role Ensuring the right products get to the right places at the right time Working with a Drivers Mate Following a delivery route, this is complied for you each day Pre calling customers before arrival Filling in paperwork as and when required Removing all packaging from each delivery Your vehicle will be loaded ready for you to collect each morning The ideal 7.5 tonne Delivery Driver will have: Experience within a similar role New passes are accepted A full Class C1 UK/EA licence with no more than six penalty points A current CPC card and Tachograph card A passion for delivering great customer service The ability to handle heavy goods The hours of work for the 7.5 tonne Delivery Driver are 5 days on 3 days off, the working days cover any 5 over Monday Sunday, you must be available to work between the hours of 7.00am 6.15pm. The salary for the 7.5 tonne Delivery Driver will be £13.60 per hour, overtime paid at time and a half over 45 hours per week.
