Job Details
Teaching relevant subject through S1-S6.
The duties of teachers, promoted or unpromoted, include performing tasks as directed by the Head Teacher, considering overall workload, such as:
1. Teaching assigned classes with preparation and correction
2. Developing the school curriculum
3. Assessing, recording, and reporting on pupils' work
4. Preparing pupils for examinations and assisting with administration
5. Providing advice and guidance to pupils
6. Promoting and safeguarding pupils' health, welfare, and safety
7. Working with parents, support staff, and professionals
8. Undertaking professional development
9. Participating in school planning and achievement initiatives
10. Contributing to school order and wider needs

Job Requirements
Relevant Qualifications
Registered with GTCS as a teacher of the relevant subject.
Permanent posts require GTCS Full registration (General).
Temporary posts require GTCS Full or Provisional registration.
PVG Membership
This role involves regulated work with vulnerable groups, as per the Disclosure (Scotland) Act 2020.
All preferred candidates must become or update their PVG Scheme membership before employment offer.
