Location: Ideally based in or around Andover Coverage Area: Hampshire Salary: £30,000 £38,000 per year Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am 5:00pm Full-Time | PermanentWe are looking for an experienced Advanced General Builder / Multi-Trade Operative to join our growing team working across responsive repairs and maintenance within occupied residential properties throughout Hampshire.This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled and customer-focused tradesperson with strong all-round building experience and the ability to work independently to deliver high-quality repairs within agreed service levels and timescales.Key ResponsibilitiesCarry out responsive repairs and maintenance in occupied residential propertiesUndertake advanced carpentry and general building repairsComplete kitchen and bathroom repairs, refurbishments, and installationsCarry out wall and floor tiling to a high standardVinyl flooring installation and repairsPatch plastering, making good, and minor plumbing worksFencing repairs, replacement, and installationExternal groundworks including:PavingSlabbingConcretingDrainagePathway repairsBrickwork repairs, repointing, and external maintenanceDiagnose building faults and complete repairs independentlyDeliver excellent customer service while working in residents homesComplete work within agreed SLAs and target timescalesAccurately record job details and material usageEssential RequirementsProven experience as a Multi-Trade Operative or Advanced General BuilderStrong carpentry backgroundExtensive experience in responsive repairs and occupied propertiesSkilled in:CarpentryGeneral buildingKitchen and bathroom worksTilingVinyl flooringFencingGroundworksBasic plumbingPatch plasteringStrong fault-finding and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and customer service skillsAbility to work independently and manage workload effectivelyFull UK driving licenceDesirable Qualifications & ExperienceNVQ Level 2 or 3 in Carpentry or ConstructionExperience working within social housing or local authority contractsAsbestos Awareness certificationWhat We OfferCompetitive salary of £30,000 £38,000 depending on experienceMonday to Friday working pattern no weekend rotaCompany vehicle/fuel support (if applicable)Stable, long-term work across HampshireOpportunity to join a professional and supportive teamIf you are a skilled multi-trade professional with strong responsive repairs experience and take pride in delivering quality workmanship and customer service, we would like to hear from you.TPBN1_UKTJ
