A nurturing and inclusive specialist SEMH setting for Key Stage 2 to 4 learners with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs). 🧩 About the Role:
1. Teach a broad and balanced curriculum within our nurturing pathway for pupils in Key Stages 2-4
2. Use trauma-informed and relational approaches to build trust and engagement
3. Focus on developing pupils’ emotional well-being, social skills, and readiness to learn
4. Work in partnership with colleagues, families, and professionals to support each child’s unique journey
5. Contribute to the creation of a warm, inclusive learning environment where every young person feels valued
What We’re Looking For:
6. A qualified teacher with knowledge of the KS2-4 curriculum
7. Experience of working with pupils with SEMH and additional needs
8. A compassionate, patient, and resilient approach to teaching and behaviour support
9. Creativity and flexibility to design learning that truly engages pupils
10. Excellent communication and teamwork skills
To Be Eligible You Must:
11. Hold the Right to Work in the UK
12. Have QTS (or equivalent) and be able to evidence your qualifications
13. Hold or be willing to apply for an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate
14. Provide two professional child-related references
15. Be confident communicating with pupils, families, and colleagues in accurate spoken English
