2337 - Medical Workforce Rota Team Leader
As the MedicalWorkforce Rota Team Leader, you will provide comprehensive, high quality andeffective resident doctor rota co-ordination, including liaising with internaland external stakeholders to ensure optimum staffing is maintained at alltimes.
You will supportthe Clinical Business units across the Trust in managing the resident medicalworkforce by the effective management, administration and data input forresident doctors rotas.
You will linemanage the Medical Workforce Rota Officers on a day-to-day basis ensuring acomprehensive Medical Workforce Rota function is delivered.
Main duties of the job
You will provide high quality rota management and advicefor the effective use of resident medical workforce across all 3 of theClinical Business Units (CBU). In addition, you will provide advice andguidance to other non-centralised rota coordinators as and when required.
You will be the initial point of contact for residentmedical staff and provide information on staffing levels before any request forabsence is authorised.
Responsible in providing accurate and up to dateinformation to senior clinicians and CBU Management regarding staffing numbers,sickness absence, vacancies and bank/locum requirements.
To support Deputy Medical Staffing Manager Retention inredesign of rotas to ensure compliance with the required rules in line with themost up to date version of the Resident Doctor Contract 2016.

Qualifications
* Educated to Degree Level or equivalent significant experience working in medical staffing or similar function, including giving advice and guidance on a range of issues and working to tight deadlines.
