About the Role
We are seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist based in the United Kingdom to join our global People team on a 9 month maternity cover contract.
In this role, you will manage full cycle recruitment for a range of positions across our global organization, primarily supporting hiring across Europe and the United States. You will work closely with hiring managers to develop effective recruitment strategies, proactively source candidates within the clinical research industry, and ensure a high quality hiring process.
The ideal candidate will bring strong experience recruiting within the clinical research or life sciences sector, with the ability to manage multiple roles while maintaining an excellent candidate and stakeholder experience.
Your Responsibilities
* Manage full cycle recruitment for entry to mid level roles across the organization, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and offer negotiation
* Support hiring across Europe and the United States, working closely with international hiring managers
* Develop proactive sourcing strategies to identify and engage high quality candidates within the clinical research industry
* Build strong relationships with hiring managers to understand hiring needs and develop effective recruitment strategies
* Provide market insights on talent availability, competitor activity, and compensation trends
* Deliver a positive and engaging candidate experience throughout the recruitment process
* Maintain accurate recruitment activity within the applicant tracking system
* Track recruitment metrics and provide updates to hiring managers on pipeline progress and hiring performance
* Ensure job advertisements are aligned with internal guidelines and relevant legal requirements
* Promote Emerald Clinical as an employer of choice through LinkedIn engagement, talent outreach, and employer branding activities
* Partner with Marketing on recruitment campaigns and social media initiatives
* Support recruitment related events such as career fairs, networking sessions, or industry conferences where applicable
* Identify opportunities to improve recruitment processes and sourcing strategies
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
* Experiencefull cycle recruitment experience within the clinical research, CRO, or life sciences sector
* Experience recruiting across both Europe and the United States
* Strong experience sourcing candidates using tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter and other candidate databases
* Experience using an Applicant Tracking System and maintaining accurate recruitment data
* Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to partner effectively with hiring managers
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to manage multiple requisitions while maintaining quality and speed of hiring
* Proactive, organised, and comfortable working in a fast paced global environment
* Experience conducting structured or behavioural interviews is advantageous
