The Role: As a Key Stage 2 Teacher, you’ll play a vital role in supporting pupils aged 7-11 at a critical stage in their educational and emotional development. You will deliver engaging, creative and well-structured lessons that nurture curiosity, promote social development, and build strong foundations in literacy and numeracy. Key Responsibilities: Plan and deliver high-quality, inclusive lessons in line with the KS2 National Curriculum. Support the individual learning needs of all pupils, including those with SEND and EAL. Create a warm, safe, and stimulating classroom environment that promotes learning and development. Foster positive relationships with pupils, parents, and carers, ensuring effective home–school communication. Contribute to school life and extracurricular activities, supporting pupils’ social and emotional growth. Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and school staff to support pupil progress and wellbeing. Minimum Requirements: To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following minimum criteria: · Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK. · A relevant teaching qualification (PGCE, BEd, etc.). · Experience teaching within a KS2 primary classroom setting (1 year preferred). · Strong knowledge and understanding of the SATS and Key Stage 2 curriculum. · Excellent communication and classroom management skills. · A passion for inspiring young learners and supporting their development Enhanced DBS and Safeguarding: All applicants must undergo an Enhanced DBS check (Child Workforce).
