Trial Balance Consulting are delighted to be working in continued partnership with a highly reputable, fast-growing, and modern organisation to recruit a Credit Controller. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity offering hybrid working between home and the company’s impressive HQ in Truro (with free onsite parking).
Reporting to the finance team and working closely with partners across the business, the successful candidate will take a key role in managing aged debt. This role requires a professional, tactful, and tenacious individual with excellent communication skills. Key responsibilities will include:
* Monitoring the accounts receivable ledger to identify financial risks
* Building strong relationships with clients to help manage payment challenges
* Issuing aged debt notices
* Recovering outstanding debts using a range of written and verbal strategies
* Collaborating with partners and colleagues to resolve aged debt issues
We’re looking for an experienced Credit Controller who brings both persistence and empathy to the role. You’ll need a solid understanding of debt recovery and accounts receivable practices, along with a confident, customer-focused approach. No formal qualifications are required, but a proven background in credit control is essential.
