You will be responsible for improving performance, productivity, efficiency and profitability through the implementation of effective methods and strategies. Responsibilities
* Lead the warehouse operation and continually improve operations, driving operational KPI’s
* Be responsible for our temp staff recruits by our in house temp agency
* Succession plan for personnel and team growth
* Set internal KPIs and monitor performance
* To be a champion for H&S, encompassing accuracy, quality & housekeeping
* Perform route-planning for transport operation
* Manage drivers & their performance
Requirements
* Proven work experience as an Operations Manager
* Adequate knowledge of organisational effectiveness and operations management
* Budget development and oversight experience
* Familiarity with business and financial principles and practices
* Working knowledge of budgets, forecasting and metrics
* Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organisation
