Typical project value £1M-£15M. As a Senior Electrical Design Engineer you will be responsible for all aspects of the design phase of multiple Major projects As a Senior Electrical Design Engineer you will… Engage with Tendering and Construction team to offer support on technical queries and facilitate handover through the client journey and represent Ipsum Power Ltd when required at customers and other 3 rd party meetings. We require you to identify and communicate commercial opportunities and attend site as required. Assist in mapping and defining design processes and delivery design phase of projects up 400kV with appropriate use of specialist contractors. W e do require you to have a good level of understanding and knowledge of the Renewables and Power Distribution/Transmission industry for this role About you… Level 5 Qualification in either electrical or Civil Engineering with Membership of professional body / or Incorporated Engineer or Chartership. Due to the seniority of the role we require you to have proven experience in an Electrical Design role within the Electricity, Power Distribution systems, or Renewables industry. You will be responsible for managing design phase of projects from tender through to construction. A good level and knowledge of AutoCAD suite (or similar) and specific programs such as CDEGS, IPSA, Power Factory, Solid works. We also require knowledge of statutory requirements, legislation and technical advances within scope of specialism (e.g. General: HASAWA, NRSWA, C.O.S.H.H., CDM. For electrical specialism: P28, G5/5, G99.
