Your new companyHays Education is working in partnership with a wide range of secondary schools across London, including high-performing academies, community schools, and Ofsted-rated 'Good' and 'Outstanding' settings. Due to continued demand, we are recruiting Science Teachers across all specialisms (Biology, Chemistry, and Physics) for roles starting immediately and from September.Your new roleAs a Science Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and high-quality lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with opportunities to teach at Key Stage 5 depending on your experience and specialism. You will inspire students to develop a genuine interest in Science while supporting their academic progress and achievement.Your responsibilities may include:

• Planning and delivering engaging Science lessons aligned with the national curriculum
• Teaching Biology, Chemistry, or Physics across KS3-KS5 (depending on experience)
• Assessing, monitoring, and reporting on student progress
• Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment
• Contributing to departmental planning and wider school initiatives

What you'll need to succeed

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Experience teaching Science in a secondary school setting
• Strong subject knowledge in Biology, Chemistry, or Physics
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills
• A passion for inspiring young people and raising attainment
