Audit Management Role
This role involves leading and contributing to audit teams, providing expert advice and guidance on audit matters. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of UK and International GAAS, IFRS, UK GAAP and Financial Reporting requirements.
Responsibilities:
* Providing audit leadership and expertise to ensure high-quality audit work is delivered.
* Identifying risk matters and raising with senior managers or partners while exercising professional judgement.
* Producing clear and concise work for review by senior managers or partners, highlighting issues and suggesting potential solutions.
* Engaging with senior audited entity staff to gain a good understanding of their business and ensuring the efficient execution of the audit.
* Monitoring progress against agreed objectives and gaining a full understanding of any deviations from budgeted costs.
* Supervising, coaching and developing junior members of staff within teams.
* Ensuring compliance with internal (audit methodology and risk management) and external (regulatory) requirements.
* Participating in group, stream and firm-wide activities.
* Assisting in the planning, execution and finalisation of all areas of the audit assignment for review by senior managers or partners.
Skill Requirements:
* ACA/ACCA/ICAS qualified or overseas equivalent.
* Educated up to degree level or CTS.
* Experience supervising and coaching junior members of staff on-site.
* Working knowledge of UK and International GAAS, IFRS, UK GAAP and Financial Reporting requirements.
* Demonstrable knowledge of current economic and market trends.
