Overview
Are you ready to take your legal career to new heights and have the opportunity to develop your knowledge in a fast paced and diverse role, providing a variety of services including litigation support? In this role, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the Council’s litigation service. You’ll handle a varied and often complex caseload, represent the Council in County Court and Magistrate Court proceedings, and play a key role in ensuring the Council delivers a responsive, trusted and customer focused in house legal service.
Responsibilities

Casework Diversity
* Housing possessions
* Anti‑social behaviour

Qualifications & Requirements
* Post‑qualification experience in litigation work
* Excellent knowledge of court proceedings
* Strong advocacy skills
* Clear and confident communication, both verbal and written
* Comfortable managing complex workloads efficiently in a fast‑paced environment
* Ability to build rapport with a wide variety of people
* Self‑motivation, sound judgement and professionalism
* Experience within a local government environment is desirable
* Conscientiousness and good work ethic
* Ability to converse at ease with members of the public and provide advice in fluent English
