Smart Outdoor is redefining how data and technology power real‑world advertising. As part of our mission to build the UK’s most intelligent Digital Out Of Home network, we’re expanding Smart Surf – our next‑generation guest WiFi solution for retail, leisure and town centre environments.
We’re looking for a hands‑on Sales Executive to lead the charge on Smart Surf – building relationships with shopping centres, leisure destinations and BIDs, and turning our connected vision into reality.
You’ll be working with a warm network of existing sites while helping to drive Smart Surf into new venues, selling the benefits of connectivity that drives engagement, insight and growth. You’ll manage the full sales cycle – from pitch to signed agreement – before handing over to our installation partner and in‑house commissioning team to deliver.
What you’ll do
* Develop and convert opportunities for Smart Surf within shopping centres and other high‑footfall venues
* Build strong commercial relationships with retail landlords, operators and BIDs
* Present and pitch the Smart Surf solution as part of Smart Outdoor’s wider data ecosystem
* Prepare proposals, process orders, and coordinate with partners for installation
* Maintain an active pipeline, supported by marketing and data insights
* Work closely with the Head of Data & Intelligence to shape rollout strategy and new venue targeting
What we’re looking for
* Proven experience in B2B sales, ideally within retail, media, or technology
* A strong communicator and relationship builder
* Technically confident – able to discuss WiFi and connectivity solutions with venue teams
* Organised, proactive, and self‑driven
