We are seeking a dedicated SEND Lecturer (Multi-Skills/Construction) to join our Supported & Inclusive Learning team. You will plan, deliver and assess engaging lessons in construction/multi-skills for SEND learners, ensuring high standards of teaching, learning, and assessment.
Key Responsibilities Deliver high-quality, creative, and inclusive teaching tailored to SEND learners.
Develop and implement schemes of learning, lesson plans, and resources.
Act as a course tutor, tracking and supporting student progress.
Contribute to course development, reviews, and quality improvement.
Support learners with progression pathways and employability skills.
Promote positive behaviour and safeguarding at all times.
We are looking for someone who is passionate about inclusive education and skilled in delivering vocational training in a SEND setting.
Essential requirements:
A recognised Level 5 teaching qualification (or willingness to work towards one within 2 years).
Minimum Level 2 in English & Maths (GCSE Grade C/4 or above).
Experience in construction, multi-skills, or a related trade.
Recent experience teaching learners with SEND, including those with complex needs.
Strong classroom management and behaviour support skills.
A commitment to safeguarding and equality of opportunity.
Desirable:
Degree or equivalent in a relevant subject.
Experience in course tutoring, EHCP reviews, and curriculum development for SEND learners.
