Key Stage 2 Teacher Wanted!
Position: KS2 Teacher
Location: Hatfield
Start Date: September
Employment Type: Long-Term Contract
As a KS2 Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering a broad and balanced curriculum, encouraging critical thinking, and supporting the academic and personal growth of your students. You will work closely with a team of experienced educators and support staff to create a positive and stimulating classroom environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum.
2. Assess and monitor students' progress, providing regular feedback to parents and carers.
3. Create a positive and stimulating classroom environment that encourages student participation and enthusiasm for learning.
4. Develop and implement strategies to support the individual needs of all students, including those with special educational needs (SEN).
5. Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practices and ensure a cohesive approach to teaching and learning.
6. Engage with parents and carers to foster strong home-school partnerships.
Requirements:
7. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
8. Proven experience teaching at the primary school level, preferably Year 5.
9. A thorough understanding of child development and the ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of all learners.
10. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
11. A proactive, positive attitude and a passion for teaching.
12. Commitment to continuous professional development and staying current with educational best practices.
13. Eligibility to work in the UK is essential.
