The Role
We are seeking an experienced, self-motivated, and results-driven Area Sales Manager to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for expanding our customer base, nurturing and strengthening existing client relationships, and achieving sales growth within your assigned territory.
Key Responsibilities
* Proactively identify and develop new business opportunities within the region
* Manage, retain, and grow relationships with existing clients
* Deliver persuasive sales pitches, presentations, and product demonstrations to prospective and existing customers
* Consistently achieve and exceed agreed sales targets
* Gather and provide market intelligence, including competitor analysis, to the Sales Manager
* Conduct research to identify emerging market trends and new customer needs
* Maintain a comprehensive understanding of current market conditions and product offerings
* Accurately record and update sales activities and customer interactions
Candidate Profile
We are looking for a proactive sales professional with the following qualifications and attributes:
* Minimum of 5 years’ proven sales experience (field or area-based preferred)
* Demonstrated success within the automotive, commercial vehicle, or aftermarket industries
* Excellent communication, negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills
* Strong organisational and time-management abilities, with the capacity to manage your own schedule effectively
* Self-motivated and target-driven with a proven track record of achieving results
* Excellent verbal, written, and IT skills
* Full UK driving licence
* Flexibility to travel extensively, including overnight stays as required
