Teaching Assistant Prospero Teaching is looking for a passionate and proactive Level 3 teaching assistant or someone with QTS who is looking for a new role for September. You will be responsible for supporting the teacher with the pupils learning and development, in a nursery/early years class in Newcastle on a full-time and long-term basis. This is an exciting opportunity to build positive relationships with pupils and have a long-term, positive impact on their progress and development inside and outside the classroom. About the Role: The role will involve planning and teaching engaging and informative lessons that inspire pupils and allows all pupils to make progress regardless of their ability levels. Stretching and challenging the learning and progress of all pupils in a group setting and on a 1-1 basis. Building positive relationships with pupils and the class teacher to create excellent learning environments. Managing challenging behaviour in a positive, proactive and consistent manner. Personal care support may be required for this role. Working effectively with the teacher to ensure children receive the best possible educational experience. About the School: The role is based in an inspirational School in Newcastle supporting pupils in nursery/early years. There is an opportunity for the role to be based with EYFS. The School has an outstanding supportive culture and Leadership Team, where staff work as a Team within classrooms to provide high standards of support to pupils. About the role: Location: Newcastle Start Date:September Start Contract:Full-Time Hours: 8:30-3:30 Pay: £440-£600 per week Experience/Qualifications and Requirements: An Enhanced DBS (ideally on the Update Service but this is not essential as we can process a new one for you) Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification and Early Years experience within the UK.
