We're currently recruiting for an experienced and highly capable maternity cover assistant to a senior Presenters' and Writers' Agent. This is a full-time position that will commence in January and you will be working closely with a Senior Agent representing authors, journalists, presenters and broadcasters The successful candidate will be involved in all areas of client management and it is important that you have previous experience in agenting, broadcasting or publishing. This role requires high levels of organisational, written and verbal skills, together with a ‘can-do’ attitude, an eye for detail and experience of using MS Office. Responsibilities: Liaising with clients, publishers, producers, broadcasters, publicists and the media on a daily basis Being responsible for responding to email and phone enquiries of all sorts First port of call for appearance, interview and availability requests, enquiries about brand or commercial activity; negotiating fees and arrangements where appropriate Supporting clients with travel arrangements, diary planning, schedules, logistics and queries Providing full administrative support including but not limited to: checking, chasing and processing contracts invoicing, tracking, and chasing payments maintaining office systems, including database management and filing diary management Managing social media for clients and agent and regularly updating the appropriate section of the company website Reading and assessing book and television proposals and manuscripts Qualities and Skills: Outstanding communication skills Trustworthy and accurate as will be dealing with highly confidential material A positive, can-do attitude A passion for organisation and excellent attention to detail We are committed to diverse, inclusive recruitment, regardless of disability, race, age, colour, national origin, ethnic origin, sexual orientation, gender identity or any other basis.
