We’re now hiring reliable and experienced Class 1 Day Drivers for a busy general haulage contract based in Grantham (NN33 5). This is a long-term opportunity offering excellent day shifts and straightforward curtain sider work — with no handball required.
Role Overview:
* Location: Grantham, NN33 5
* Position: HGV Class 1 – Day Driver
* ⏰ Start Times: Between 06:00 – 09:00
* Shifts: Thursday to Monday
* Trailer: Curtain Sider
* Sector: General Haulage | RDC Deliveries
* ❌ Handball: None
* Rate: £170 per day (Umbrella)
✅ What You’ll Need:
* Full UK Class 1 (CE) Licence
* Valid CPC & Digital Tacho Card
* Minimum 6 months’ Class 1 driving experience
* Ability to work Thursday through Monday
* Professional, punctual, and reliable
