Electrical Systems Engineer
Location: Any UK Site
Overview: At Alexander Dennis, we lead the evolution of sustainable on‑road mass transportation and mobility. We design, deliver, and support market‑leading buses and coaches that help reduce emissions, improve air quality and keep communities connected.
What You’ll Do
You will support current and develop new electrical system designs for Alexander Dennis vehicles, ensuring compliance across global markets and integrating emerging technologies to meet or exceed customer expectations. From concept through to delivery, you will work on design, development, testing, and documentation of electrical systems.
What We’re Looking For
You have an HNC or degree in Electrical Engineering and at least 3 years’ experience, ideally in an automotive environment. You are competent in 3D and electrical CAD (E3 & Solid Edge preferred), with a detailed understanding of vehicle electrical systems and controls, including 12V/24V systems. Strong problem‑solving skills, ability to work in a structured environment, and good communication skills are essential.

* Knowledge of system definition, development, and requirements capture
