We’re working with a major UK service provider with thousands of employees nationwide, looking to hire a Legal Counsel (NQ–1 PQE) to join its established in-house legal team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a junior employment lawyer to step into a broad, hands-on role within a large and complex organisation. You’ll gain exposure to a high volume and variety of employment matters, while also having the opportunity to develop experience across wider litigation and disputes.
The role:
You’ll work closely with HR and senior stakeholders across the business, advising on a full range of employment law matters including:
* disciplinary, grievance, performance and absence issues
* employment tribunal claims and case strategy
* drafting and reviewing policies, contracts and settlement agreements
* supporting on restructures, TUPE and wider transformation projects
Alongside this, you’ll support the litigation team on a range of disputes, giving you the opportunity to build experience beyond pure employment law in a supportive environment.
Given the scale of the business, the work is high quality, varied and commercially impactful, offering excellent exposure to complex and strategic issues affecting a large workforce.
