Job Description:
* Up to 40k plus 2.5k further payment once made Electrical AP
* Monday to Friday on a single site in central Birmingham, with the following hours:
* Week 1: 7AM - 3PM
* Week 2: 1PM - 10PM
* Week 3: 8AM - 5PM
* 1 week in 6 call-out paying £1350 standby per annum, and 4 hours work paid if called
* *Call out covers the local region beyond the single site where the role is based*

At ISS, one of the UK's leading Facilities Management providers, we are recruiting a qualified Electrician to join our Maintenance team at the client's corporate banking facility in central Birmingham.
Working with other engineers, you will perform planned and reactive electrical maintenance across the site, covering Low and High Voltage Distribution systems, final circuits, standby generators, load shedding equipment, UPS systems, batteries, earthing and lightning protection, emergency lighting, and security lighting.
You will also manage UPS load bank testing of the UPS batteries.
*We are open to working with Electricians eager to gain more experience with high voltage systems.*
Additionally, there will be some small mechanical maintenance and fabric jobs, which you will manage and deliver independently via your tablet system.
This role offers excellent training, and the building is modern and recently refurbished with new equipment.
Responsibilities include:
* Managing electrical PPM, proactive, and reactive works through the helpdesk within set timeframes to exceed customer expectations.
* Carrying out other building services maintenance, including fabric, HVAC, mechanical, and related tasks.
* Responding to callouts as per the rota.
* Monitoring contractors and their workmanship, issuing Permits to Work, and ensuring standards are met.
* Ensuring all electrical equipment operates to performance criteria.
* Evaluating performance and ensuring proper servicing and maintenance of contracted equipment.
* Maintaining accurate records and documentation.
Requirements:
* Electrical qualifications and some experience in installation or maintenance.
