HC-One is seeking an Assistant Chef with at least a Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate and a good understanding of Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points. The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to follow recipes accurately. You should be considerate and kind when communicating with residents and colleagues.
In this role, you will support the First Chef by cooking and serving nutritious meals, managing food stock, and supervising kitchen cleanliness, always prioritizing resident wellbeing. Safeguarding training is mandatory, and you should be able to recognize signs of potential abuse or neglect, report concerns, and escalate issues when necessary.
