James Grace Associates are currently recruiting for a Skilled Manual Machinist on behalf of our reputable client located in Coalville, Leicestershire. 1. Operate and set manual machining equipment to produce components as per specified drawings and tolerances.
2. Inspect machined parts to ensure they meet quality standards and report any deviations.
3. Maintain a clean and safe work area, complying with health and safety regulations.
4. Collaborate with the team to meet daily production targets and deadlines.
5. Assist in the maintenance and basic servicing of machinery to ensure optimal performance.
6. Maintain accurate documentation of work completed.
7. Proven experience as a manual machinist or machine operator, with understanding of technical drawings and specifications.
8. Ability to operate manual lathes, mills, or similar machinery confidently.
9. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
10. Good organisational skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
11. Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented attitude.
12. Health & Safety awareness and adherence to safety procedures.
Hours: Monday-Thursday-7am-3:30pm Friday: 6am-12pm
