Role Description
The Product Owner works closely with the Senior Product Manager and the development team to ensure the successful refinement, delivery, and enhancement of Estatesearch products. This role is responsible for running daily standups, retrospectives, and monthly planning sessions, ensuring the roadmap is delivered from requirements refinement through deployment and post-deployment checks. The Product Owner coordinates with internal teams and suppliers, manages the product backlog, and drives continuous improvement in product delivery.
This role is offered as a hybrid role with two days minimum working from our office in Burgess Hill so someone located in commutable distance would be ideal.
Key responsibilities
Product Delivery & Coordination
* Lead daily standups, retrospectives, and monthly planning sessions with the development team.
* Refine product requirements and ensure tasks are well prepared for development, ensuring they are fully defined, actionable and align with business objectives.
* Manage and prioritise the product backlog in line with business priorities.
* Track and monitor development team progress against the roadmap, ensuring timely delivery of features and enhancements.
* Coordinate deployment and post-deployment checks, ensuring quality and alignment with requirements and agreed specifications.
* Communicate new features and changes to relevant teams and provide system guides/training as needed.
* Liaise with third-party suppliers integrated into Estatesearch products.
* Test new changes or fixes on UAT, review with stakeholders, and approve when ready for deployment.
* Ensure any production issues are resolved promptly.
* Act as the liaison between the development team, internal stakeholders, and external suppliers to ensure clear communication of priorities and requirements.
* Facilitate agile ceremonies and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
* Support team communication and relay updates to internal stakeholders.
* Prepare update reports and presentations about progress for internal communication.

Person specification
Experience and Knowledge
* Experience in product management or delivery coordination (essential).
* Experience working closely with development teams in a product delivery environment (essential).
* Understanding of agile methodologies and the product lifecycle (essential).
* Experience working with cross-functional teams and external suppliers (essential).
* Experience working with legal technology or fintech (desirable)
* Experience of tracking product success using analytics such as Power BI, Hotjar or similar (desirable)
* A degree in Business Studies, Computer Science or other related field (desirable)
