We’re looking to offer a salary of £30,000 per annum and 33 days annual leave (including bank holidays). Your benefits package includes a company‑sponsored pension scheme, life assurance and access to our benefits platform, including retail discounts.
What you’ll do on a typical day:
Plan, update and manage core delivery routes, collections and trunking activities across the network
* Coordinate daily network reports, ad‑hoc bookings and returns, ensuring accuracy and timely communication
* Liaise with customers, depots and operational teams to resolve issues quickly and maintain strong working relationships
* Utilise planning tools such as Excel, routing software (Paragon/Aptean) and internal systems to support efficient transport scheduling
* Support continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to streamline processes, improve data accuracy and enhance service performance
What you need to succeed at GXO:
Previous experience within a planning or transport/logistics environment
* Strong communication and organisational skills, with the ability to manage workloads and meet deadlines
* Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel; experience with routing systems such as Paragon is highly beneficial
* Excellent attention to detail and confidence analysing data and solving problems
* A proactive, flexible approach with the ability to work independently and collaboratively
