Land Acquisition Manager
Poole, Dorset
£50k - £80k plus package and profit share
Are you driven by getting out and about, meeting agents & land owners and finding sites? Do you feel hamstrung by your current company being less inclined to buy land? Are you bored of sitting at your desk processing site after site handed down from above?
I'm working with a leading privately owned developer, operating across various asset classes including residential, student accommodation, commercial and roadside retail, who are looking to add to the team with a Land Acquisition Manager. They are looking for someone who is pro-active in getting out to meet and cultivate relationships with agents and land owners, and to sniff out great land acquisition opportunities.
With money to spend on land acquisition, my client is well placed to do deals and bring through some new sites for development. They operate locally within residential, nationally on roadside retail and their focus is in / around Russell Group Universities. experience in these areas would be an advantage, but not essential.
Happy to consider candidates from a developer, or land / development agency background, this ia great opportunity for someone who is deal-hungry.
Responsibilities:
Meeting with, and developing relationships with agents and land owners.
Bringing new land acquisition & investment opportunities to the table and securing sites for the business.
Driving deals through the acquisition process.
Working with the Land & Development Director on existing opportunities and sites.
Attending networking events and functions as a company representative.
On offer is a salary of circa £50k - £80k plus package and profit share.
