Title: Cloud Architect – Azure
Day Rate: £550 – £600pd (Outside IR35)
Duration: 12 Months
Based: Hybrid/London (1 day a week)
Key Responsibilities
* Extensive knowledge of Azure infrastructure best practices and frameworks (ESSENTIAL)
* Expert in Cloud Adoption Framework/Landing Zones (ESSENTIAL)
* Design, deploy, and optimise Azure infrastructure
* Collaborate with Architecture & Security teams to ensure compliance and best practices
* Automate infrastructure using Terraform & CI/CD pipelines
* Troubleshoot and resolve cloud infrastructure issues efficiently
* Provide knowledge transfer and support to internal teams
What You’ll Need
* Significant experience in implementing and supporting Azure-based infrastructure solutions, ensuring robust and scalable deployments.
* Azure design, deploy experience
* Extensive knowledge of Azure infrastructure best practices and frameworks (ESSENTIAL)
* Expert in Cloud Adoption Framework/Landing Zones (ESSENTIAL)
* Experience with cloud migration projects, specifically transitioning from on-premises to Azure environments.
* Strong expertise in Azure cloud services (Azure AD, Networking, Security)
* Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) – Terraform, ARM templates
* Experience in cloud migrations and automation
* Knowledge of networking technologies and security best practices
* Ability to work independently and in collaboration with stakeholders
