Industrial Electrical Projects Progression Opportunity An established UK engineering services provider is currently recruiting for an Electrical Supervisor to join a growing industrial projects team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced electrician or supervisor who is looking to step up and progress their career. The role focuses on delivering small electrical installation projects within industrial environments, typically valued between £15k–£35k, while leading a small on-site team and working as part of a larger multi-disciplinary workforce. The Role You will take responsibility for the delivery of electrical installation projects, managing site activities, coordinating labour and materials, and ensuring works are completed safely, on time, and to a high standard. Projects are primarily focused on lighting and power installations within industrial settings, with a strong emphasis on safety, quality, and client communication. Key Responsibilities Oversee electrical installations in industrial environments (food and beverage or pharmaceutical manufacturing experience highly desirable) Quote and deliver small works projects typically valued £25k–£35k Manage and supervise a small on-site team (around 5 engineers) Build and maintain strong working relationships with client Project Managers Prepare and review Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS) Plan and manage projects to tight deadlines Audit ongoing works to ensure SHEQ compliance Select, order, and manage materials and hire equipment Arrange appropriate labour and resources for each project Support, mentor, and supervise team members Fault find, test, and modify control panels where required Complete timesheets, reports, and project documentation accurately Skills & Experience Strong background in electrical installation within industrial environments Experience in control and automation, including building and modifying control panels Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics Comfortable working under pressure and to tight timescales Capable of producing accurate quotations and project plans Excellent communication skills with clients, engineers, and internal teams Qualifications & Technical Knowledge Fully qualified to BS 7671 (18th Edition Wiring Regulations) Good working knowledge of BS 60204 (Electrical equipment of machines/control panels) Confident in electrical testing and fault finding to BS 7671 Proven experience supervising teams and managing subcontractors What’s on Offer Competitive salary with enhanced overtime rates Time and a half on weekdays Double time on weekends Clear, genuine progression opportunities towards Operations Manager roles Ongoing training and development via an in-house training academy Join a stable, growing business with a strong team culture and long-term opportunities Work van, Fuel card, Phone and Laptop Interviews are taking place this week, so if this role is of interest to you, please apply today.
