This is an exciting opportunity to join a small team of User Centred Design professionals, dedicated to improving outcomes for the people in North Lincolnshire.
As an experienced user-research professional, you will be responsible for leading and developing the discipline within the organisation.
You will work closely with the Senior Service Designer to plan and deliver user research activities to help teams get a deep understanding of the people that use council services and the end-to-end experience.
You will build close relationships with the diverse community groups in North Lincolnshire, to build trust and create opportunities to hear about the lived experience of a wide variety of people.
You will be a strong advocate for user-centred practices across the organisation and demonstrate the value of qualitative and quantitative research for evidence based decision making to stakeholders at every level.
About you
You’ll need a proven track record of successfully delivering quality user research to support the delivery of products and services that meet the needs of users, including:
• using a range of research methods to learn about user needs
• managing the recruitment of both current and potential users of the service as participants
• applying different techniques for the analysis of research data and synthesis of findings
• explaining user insights to stakeholders to build understanding and consensus
• ensuring that ethics and consent processes are followed
You will also be able to demonstrate that you can work with others as part of a team in a collaborative, inclusive way.
