Senior Procurement Manager at SNG (Sovereign Network Group)
We’re looking for an experienced Procurement professional to join our team in either Basingstoke or Wembley – a hybrid working model with an expectation to be in the Basingstoke office on a weekly basis.

The Role
Reporting into the Head of Strategic Sourcing, you will be a key member of the senior leadership team within Procurement. You will manage the approach and methodology for SNG's procurement activity, demonstrating the value of procurement and aligning solutions with corporate goals. Responsibilities include:
* Accountability for the Development category spend within our Investment and Development Directorate, including line‑managing the Category Managers responsible for specific projects.
* Managing multiple complex procurement projects across all areas of spend within the Investment and Development business, ensuring alignment to the Procurement Strategy.
* Leading end‑to‑end supplier engagement and sourcing activities—definition, sourcing, tender analysis, negotiation and supplier performance management linked to our SRM framework.
* Contributing to strategic workstreams such as data integrity and reporting to maximize data‑driven decision making.
* Line‑managing the procurement team, partnering with other Senior Procurement Managers to support continual professional development.
Qualifications and Experience
You will have:
* Previous experience in a similar procurement role with proven expertise in category management and value‑driven sourcing.
* A flexible approach and ability to employ a range of sourcing techniques to develop and deliver solutions.
* Experience leading and managing multiple projects.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Strong stakeholder‑management skills and the ability to build effective working relationships.
* Attention to detail and experience drafting and varying contracts.
* Leadership skills and a desire to coach and develop a small team.
* Knowledge of PCR 2015 regulations and the Procurement Act 2023.
