We currently have two exciting opportunities to join the East Suffolk Council's Anglia Revenues Partnership team as a Revenues Officer (Recovery). Your role Be part of our successful Recovery team to collect outstanding Housing Benefit overpayments, council tax arrears, negotiate with debtors, maintain client records, apply appropriate recovery actions and liaise with other revenues teams. This will include daily telephone communication with the public and various Government bodies. What you will need • Team player and can work on own initiative • Great communication skills – written and verbal • Monitor client accounts to check payments received • Excellent customer service skills • Dealing with telephone contact from the public • Accurately update computer systems & records • Keep up in a fast-paced partnership environment • Liaise with other departments, Citizens Advice and Department for Work and Pensions • Ability to work from home where necessary • Can be based at any of the ARP offices • And above all enthusiasm!
