Role Overview:
As a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA), you will play a crucial role in supporting the educational and developmental needs of primary school students. You will work closely with teachers to deliver high-quality learning experiences, provide targeted interventions, and contribute to the overall well-being of the students.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist in the planning and delivery of engaging and effective lessons.
* Provide one-on-one and small group support to students, including those with special educational needs.
* Support classroom management and maintain a positive learning environment.
* Contribute to the assessment and tracking of student progress.
* Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure the best outcomes for students.
* Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
* Relevant qualifications and experience as a Higher Level Teaching Assistant.
* Strong understanding of the primary school curriculum.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
* A genuine passion for education and helping children succeed.
* Flexibility to work across multiple schools in the Wakefield area.
