Salary: £26,600 – £28,700 p/a
Enhanced Overtime: +£2.20 per hour
Hours: Full time, up to 40 hours per week
Bonuses: Up to £3000 per annum in performance-based bonuses

You would be joining a large and spacious 4 Bedded LD home in Handsworth with a spectacular garden for summer festivities The Registered Manager is incredibly experienced and has a great track record for outcomes for children, having been described by Ofsted as 'diligent' and 'passionate'. There will be plenty of opportunity to learn, develop and grow as a practitioner within this exceptional home.
Our Package and Benefits:
Basic Salary: £26,600 - £28,700 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
Enhanced Overtime Rate: An additional +£2.20 per hour over your contracted hours

The Role:
As a Waking Night Support Worker, you will play a vital role in delivering outstanding care while ensuring the smooth operation of the home. Your key responsibilities will include:
Safeguarding the children: at Insight Care Group, the safety and wellbeing of the children we care for is our utmost priority. It will be your responsibility to ensure the safety and wellbeing of the children throughout the night, so you must be able to stay alert at all times. You will also have to have a comprehensive understanding of our safeguarding policies which can guide your actions in safeguarding the children.
Monitoring and reporting: you will be required to perform checks on the welfare of the children throughout the night and must be able to competently record this information. Experience using Clearcare is preferred, but not essential.
Preparing for the next day: ensure that necessary preparations have been made for planned activities the following day, for example, compiling materials required for a key working session.
Cleaning and admin: use the quiet time at night to make sure that the standards of cleanliness in the home are upheld. Assist the rest of the team in staying on top of all necessary paperwork.
Key Requirements:
Experience working with young people in a residential care setting.
Strong organisational and interpersonal skills.
Commitment to the safety, well-being, and development of children.
Ability to work effectively during unsociable hours.
Ability to work independently.
