Job Title: Renewables Administrator
Location: Cotgrave – Office Based Salary: £13/Hr - Negociable for the right candidate. Job Type: Part-time (2 days per week, with potential to increase)
Job Overview
We are a fast-growing renewable energy company seeking a detail-oriented and organized Renewables Administratorto join our team. This role is the "engine room" of our project cycle, ensuring that solar PV and Battery Energy Storage Systems (ESS) move smoothly from the planning stage to final handover.
Initially, this is a part-time role (09:00–17:00, two days per week). As we continue to expand, there will be opportunities to increase your hours and take on further responsibility.
Key Responsibilities - Full training will be provided.
* Grid Connections: Prepare, submit, and track DNO (Distribution Network Operator) applications with National Grid and other network operators.
* Project Coordination: Maintain accurate records of live and upcoming projects, tracking timelines, progress updates, and key milestones.
* Certification & Handovers: Assist with MCS certification documentation and prepare professional project handover packs for clients.
* Renewals & Scheduling: Monitor renewal deadlines, manage the company calendar, and schedule inspections, audits, and appointments.
* Client & Supplier Liaison: Act as a professional point of contact for incoming calls and emails, resolving queries and coordinating with suppliers.
* General Administration: Use QuickBooks, Google Workspace, and Microsoft Office to manage data entry, filing, and general office duties.
Skills & Experience
Required:
* Proactive Attitude: A "can-do" approach with the ability to work independently.
* Organisational Excellence: Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
* IT Proficiency: Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Google Workspace.
* Communication: Professional phone etiquette and clear, concise written skills.
* Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy in data entry and document preparation.
Desirable:
* Previous experience in an office/admin role (though full training will be provided)
* Interest in the renewable energy sector.
* Experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting software.
