Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Compliance: Hold CQC registration for the service and ensure full compliance with CQC regulations and best practice standards.
Branch Management: Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring efficient and effective service delivery while maintaining profitability and compliance.
Staff Management: Recruit, train, supervise, and support care teams to uphold high standards of performance and care.
Quality Assurance: Implement quality monitoring systems and lead service improvement initiatives to deliver outstanding care outcomes.
Customer Experience: Maintain excellent communication with service users, their families, and external professionals to ensure person-centred care at all times.
Operational Oversight: Manage rotas, monitor performance, investigate complaints, and ensure all records and reports are completed accurately.
Business Development: Identify opportunities for service growth and build strong partnerships with local authorities, commissioners, and other stakeholders.
Emergency Support: Provide on-call support and deliver hands-on care in exceptional circumstances to maintain service continuity.
What We’re Looking For
Experienced Leader: Proven management or supervisory experience within domiciliary or residential care.
Qualified Professional: NVQ/QCF Level 3 in Health & Social Care (essential); Level 5 in Leadership & Management (desirable or working towards).
Strong Organiser: Excellent planning, rota management, and multitasking skills.
Inspiring Manager: Confident in motivating and developing staff to achieve service excellence.
Flexible & Reliable: Willingness to work flexibly, including on-call duties and occasional weekends.
Compliant & Safe: In-depth understanding of CQC requirements, safeguarding, and health & safety standards.
Driver: Full UK driving licence, access to a vehicle, and business insurance are required.
