Your Role:
* To support in the undertaking of New, Reactive or PPM tasking as part of a maintenance support function within the Garrisons whilst working towards a Level 2 Property Maintenance Operative Apprenticeship.
* Ensuring the recording of all maintenance works when completed are posted through the appropriate equipment, systems and documentation as required by the Company Management System.
* Support your mentor in all types of plumbing / mechanical repairs, electrical works, planned and reactive maintenance, carpentry, minor repairs.
* Operate in a safe working manner by adhering to Health and Safety legislation, codes of practice and safe working practices.
* Ensure that all areas of personal responsibility adopt and utilise ADSL QHSE policies and procedures.
What We’re Looking For:
* Qualifications: GCSE’s Grade 4 / C (or equivalent)
* Experience: A good level of IT literacy would be beneficial.
* Skills: Conscientious, punctual, reliable and professional individual with a customer focused approach. Be proactive in problem solving and decision making, able to work both independently and as part of a team. Self-disciplined, have strong communication & interpersonal skills, and maintain professionalism and discretion. Be willing to learn – able to identify own development needs and take action to meet those needs keeping up to date with best practice to maintain and enhance competence.
* Driving Licence: Full UK valid driving licence required at end of apprenticeship.
* Security Clearance: Must be able to obtain MoD Security Clearance.
