Your Role
Our Road Logistics team at Kuehne+Nagel provides services to move goods across Europe. The sales team sources, engages, and maintains our customer base, ensuring shipments are booked efficiently and delivered on time. You could be shipping Canoes to Croatia or Shoes to Slovakia. Your Responsibilities
This 24-month Apprenticeship program offers practical on-the-job training and study towards the Sales Level 4 Apprenticeship standard. You will work within a successful Sales team, learning to be a top performer, supported by peers, managers, and the apprenticeship team at Kuehne+Nagel.
Initially, you will focus on delivering excellent customer service, then develop specialist Sales skills, possibly managing your own Customer Service or Sales Account. Successful apprentices may secure full-time positions, bonuses, and pay rises.
During your apprenticeship, you will learn to:
* Process bookings from clients and agents efficiently.
* Support Sales Managers operationally.
* Coordinate shipments, ensuring customer satisfaction.
* Handle shipment issues, keeping clients and managers updated.
* Process invoices.
* Participate in meetings and training.
* Make sales calls, onboard new customers.
* Analyze sales data and conduct customer reviews.
Your Skills and Experiences
* Minimum GCSEs at grades 3–9 / A*-D, including Maths & English.
* Passion for customer service, strong work ethic, effective communication.
* Good planning and organizational skills, ability to multitask, self-starter.
* Experience with Microsoft Outlook and Excel is beneficial.
* Candidates must have been resident in the EEA for at least 3 years; visa sponsorship is not available.
* This is an entry-level position; experienced candidates should consider other vacancies.

* Contract: 21st October 2024 – 16th October 2026
* Hours: Monday – Friday, 09:00 – 17:15
* Location: Office based
