Groups Co-ordinator - Glasgow
We're looking for a detail-driven, people-first Groups Co-ordinator to be the engine behind our group bookings. You'll own enquiries from first hello to final farewell-converting business, nailing the admin, and partnering with Sales, Revenue and Operations to deliver seamless stays and solid results.
What you'll do
* Convert group enquiries with confident phone and email handling, speedy follow-ups and polished proposals. You'll track, chase and close-keeping every detail accurate and every client informed.
* Maximise revenue-know your numbers (segments, rates, yield), spot opportunities, and support managed overbooking and wash-down controls to hit targets.
* Run rock-solid admin-correspondence checks, traces/chase management, credit policy adherence, no-show standards, and clean, consistent files.
* Collaborate brilliantly-work closely with Revenue & Sales on pricing, market segmentation, show rounds and familiarisation trips; keep departments aligned from enquiry to departure.
* Stay market-aware-track competitor activity and city events so we're ready to capture demand.
What you'll bring
* Experience in groups, reservations or sales support within hotels (or a fast-paced customer/administration role with strong transferrable skills).
* A warm, professional communicator who builds trust with clients and colleagues.
* Organised and thorough-you love tidy files, accurate data and closing loops.
* Commercially curious-comfortable with rates, budgets and basic reports; you enjoy using data to guide decisions.
* Calm under pressure-able to juggle multiple requests without dropping the detail.
* Confident with PMS/CRM/office tools and quick to learn new systems.
