Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

The Job:
* Preventative & reactive maintenance of state of the art. Equipment will include various pumps, motors, rotating equipment, rollers, bearings, alignment, conveyors, hydraulics, pneumatics, compressors, steam & power systems.
* Help ensure H&S and compliance within mechanical engineering team.
* Support and influence mechanical engineering strategy, ensuring strategy is delivered across the site.
* Support implementation of reliability to ensure min downtime through data driven approaches.
The Person:
* NVQ 3 or HNC level mechanical engineering or similar.
* Ability to be flexible and part of a dynamic and fast growing team and division that will develop and evolve.
* Good interpersonal skills - communication, stakeholder engagement.
Nice to have but not essential:
* Project experience – expansion, modernisation, new factory or plant build.
* Installation, commissioning, start-up of machines and equipment.
Salary: £47,500 + 26 days holiday + 8 banks hols + pension + excellent career progression
Location: Deeside, Chester
Hours: Monday to Friday daytime – possible flexible start / finish 7-3, 8-4, 9-5 etc
