Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented Planner to support the planning and scheduling activities for small-scale EPCM projects based at our Client’s facility in County Durham NE UK.
The Planner will work closely with project teams to develop and maintain project schedules, track progress, and identify potential risks or delays.
This role requires good organisational skills, analytical capabilities, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
* Project Planning and Scheduling - Assist in developing project schedules for small EPCM projects, incorporating all relevant tasks, milestones, and dependencies.
* Schedule Monitoring and Reporting - Monitor project progress against established schedules, tracking actual performance and comparing it to planned timelines.
* Resource Allocation and Coordination - Coordinate with project teams to allocate resources effectively and ensure optimal utilisation of manpower, equipment, and materials.
* Risk Management and Contingency Planning - Identify potential schedule risks and uncertainties, and assist in developing mitigation strategies and contingency plans.
* Stakeholder Communication and Collaboration - Serve as a point of contact for project planning and scheduling-related communications with internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, or related field preferred; relevant experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
* Previous experience in project planning, scheduling, or project management, preferably within the pharmaceutical or biotech industry.
* Proficiency in project planning and scheduling software/tools (, Microsoft Project, Primavera P6).
