Overview
We have an exciting new opportunity for a Supply Chain Assistant Merchandiser to join our Bookings Team based at the Support Centre in Speke, Liverpool. This is a Full-time, permanent position.
Responsibilities
* Analyse stock levels and allocate delivery slots for suppliers to meet requirements.
* Consult with suppliers and drivers by phone and email.
* Book deliveries onto the TOREX system.
* Notify suppliers of their assigned deliveries.
* Resolve queries/requests from suppliers/hauliers.
* Provide general office support as required.
Skills/Experience
* Analytical mind-set with ability to interpret stock cover levels and sales trends (desirable but not essential).
* Good Microsoft Excel knowledge (preferable though not essential; training can be given).
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Able to build strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
* Ability to work at speed with excellent time management.
* Experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential.
