We're looking for an inspiring SEMH Teaching Assistant to join a specialist secondary provision supporting students in KS3–KS4. This role is all about combining therapeutic support with creative media, giving students a safe space to express themselves, build confidence, and re-engage with learning.
What you'll be doing:
* Providing 1:1 support and small group interventions tailored to students with SEMH needs
* Assisting in the delivery of a fantastic, creative curriculum built around therapeutic support and media-based projects
* Encouraging engagement, resilience, and independence in students
* Working closely with teaching staff, therapists, and external agencies to ensure every student gets the support they need
What we're looking for:
* Experience supporting young people with SEMH needs (school or alternative provision setting ideal)
* A creative, resilient, and patient approach — you're not fazed by challenges and know how to build trust
* Passion for using media, arts, or other creative outlets to help students engage
* Strong team player with excellent communication skills
