What you'll be doing: As a Lecturer in Business at Global Banking School, you will deliver management-related modules in the specified areas. You will develop and deliver comprehensive course materials, undertake all aspects of learning, teaching, and assessment of students, and keep up to date with the latest developments in your field and student support practices.
Responsibilities include:
1. Planning, delivering, and assessing student work to ensure all learning outcomes are met.
2. Developing, updating, and improving course materials as appropriate.
3. Using a variety of teaching methods and materials.
4. Engaging in staff development activities, peer observations, meetings, and administrative duties.
5. Staying informed about developments in your field and student support practices.
6. Working towards objectives related to student attendance, continuation, completion, satisfaction, and progression.
Qualifications and experience:
* Master's degree in a relevant subject area (PhD desirable).
* Previous UK HE lecturing experience in the subject area.
* Extensive knowledge of relevant subject matter.
* Experience supervising student work and providing support and feedback.
* Ability to maintain thorough and organized student records.
* Ability to work under pressure, plan, and prioritize workload to meet deadlines.
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
* Ability to work with diverse groups.
Desirable qualifications:
* Postgraduate Certificate of Academic Practice or equivalent teaching qualification, or commitment to enroll and complete within three years.
* Experience in designing or developing academic or professional education programs.
